Silvino ‘Sonny’ Patulot MS, Program Architect
Prior to founding InsourceJobs, Mr. Patulot has taught architecture and computer-related classes at the University of Washington, ITT Institute, and Seattle Central Community College. An educator turned entrepreneur, he promoted the ‘insourcing’ concept while at Citrus Community College where he taught AutoCAD. As a part of his master’s program studies, he enlisted local businesses to hire his unemployed professional graduates. He has proven that educational market channels were a cost-effective means to build a solid market base. Realizing that thriving businesses create jobs, he envisioned helping small businesses succeed. Currently, Mr. Patulot is developing a number of job-training programs with industry experts in the real estate, technology, and healthcare-related fields. Mr. Patulot has a degree in architecture from USC and a master’s degree in computer science from Azusa Pacific University.
Ron Merchant MD, FRCS, MPH, H.O.P.E. Program Developer Dr. Merchant is the medical consultant for the healthcare arm (H.O.P.E.) of InsourceJobs. He has a long varied experience of 37 years of medical practice with licensing in India, UK and USA. After a B.Sc. (Hons) in microbiology from the University of Bombay at the age of 18, he completed his medical training at the Armed Forces Medical College (India), in 1969 and received his Certification in Surgery from Bombay University. In 1974, he migrated to the UK, obtained his FRCS certification, His General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, Scotland and worked in Gen Surgery and Urology in England, Scotland and Wales for 9 years. He then moved to Seattle in 1983, and did residency training in occupational medicine and received his Masters of Public Health from the University of WA, Seattle in 1986. He developed an interest in treating alcohol and drug addicts and got his certification with the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Since 1983, he has practiced urgent care and addiction medicine in various hospitals and treatment centers from Burien to Arlington, including Swedish, CareUnit, Providence-Everett, Group Health, Schick Shadel and is a Peer-Review Consultant for Qualis-Health.
Melanie Plaza-Bunselmeyer MA Ed, RNC, CP, EMDR, Curriculum Developer / Advisor Melanie has been in the nursing field since 1969 and witnessed the “brain drain” phenomenon happening in the third world countries where doctors and nurses left their countries to meet the demand for trained health professionals in many U.S. hospitals and health centers in the 60’s. Now, Melanie has teamed up with IJI to meet similar workforce diversity issues and patterns with new creative and innovative solutions, joining IJI’s efforts to address the ongoing crisis and shortage in the nursing workforce. Ms. Plaza-Bunselmeyer has been a nurse educator, clinical nurse specialist, and practitioner in many diverse settings of hospitals, community clinics, and private practice, and serves as part of the adjunct clinical faculty at Seattle Pacific University.
Olga Patulot RN, BSN, President Mrs. Patulot is the co-founder of InsourceJobs and the developer of the HOPE Program. As a registered nurse for over 25 years, she knows that the hospitals’ lifeblood are the nurses and health caregivers. Ms. Patulot understands the need of good nurses for hospitals’ survival. As the director of nursing for over nine years, she is aware of the vital need for nurses and that there will be a shortage of over one million nurses and health caregivers in the next 8 years. Critical to the nation’s well-being, is the HOPE Program development to train nursing interns, trainers, and clinical instructors.
Nathalie J. Fuentes MA, Treasurer Ms. Fuentes has twenty years experience in financial services, including supervising accounts payable, daily cash handling operations, expenditures, administration and customer service. She has held several positions such as accounts payable for the general accounting of the University of Washington, Financial Services supervisor for the city of Seattle Financial Services System, Seattle Aquarium, and Parks and Recreation. An entrepreneur, she successfully owned and operated a catering business for over 20 years. Ms. Fuentes believes in giving back to the community. She is active in various community service projects, being the former chairperson of The Ways and Means committee of the largest Filipino non-profit organization in Seattle for four years, raising over a million dollars during her term. She served at the Lion’s Club International as Zone Chairman 2004-2005 and District Governor elect, for 2006 -2007. Ms. Fuentes is president of Alternative Career Solutions.
Dmitri Antos, IT, T.E.C.H. / L.A.V.A. Program Developer Dmitri Antos began his technical career in 1996, while working as a Support Engineer for the Microsoft Games group. He then worked at Microsoft as a Level 2 Software test engineer from 1999-2001, where he was a cornerstone of several vital Test Teams working on Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
He began studying the fundamentals of Graphic Design, 3D animation, HTML, Flash and Video Editing in 1995, starting with a little program known as “Adobe Photoshop, v2.0”, and continued to work on freelance design projects on the side. He left Microsoft in 2001 due to cutbacks after September 11 th. Dmitri then joined up with Motorola, where he was a staple in the newly formed “Consumer Home Solutions” group, whose innovative, Home Automation Software known as “Premise Home Control,” running on the “SYS technology” engine, had already left a major footprint in the Automation market. As Sr. Graphic and User Interface Designer for the Motorola - Premise Engineering Team, Dmitri contributed heavily to the Usability, and Flow of the v2.0 and “Professional Edition (v3.0) releases of “Premise Home Control”, and then on Premise “Melody” media extension plug-in for Windows Media Player for Microsoft Windows, Media Center Edition, the Motorola “InSight, IP camera Firmware HTML UI, MCWS web portal, Cell Phone Application and setup wizard; (nominated for an technology innovation award, CES 2004), and developed many High-End interactive media demos for Motorola CHS which were showcased at CES 2004, and 2005. Dmitri was also a contributing Designer for several 3rd party companies, including User Interface Design for OnStar Mobile, Whirlpool, GE, Marantz and Visteon Corps. The Touch panel interface which Dmitri designed for the Visteon Hummer was twice featured at CES, and TechTV, now G4 channel. Premise Home Control Software v2.0 has won multiple awards, including Home Automation Magazine’s Top 50 Editor’s picks 2 years in a row, CEA 2003 Mark of Excellence Award given during the Spring Electronic House Expo. Best of CES 2003 – Finalist 2 years in a row. Premise was also voted, Electronic House Product of the Year, Electronic House Magazine CEDIA 2002. As a 12-year industry veteran of web, video, animation, and design methodologies, Dmitri now dedicates himself to provide professional video and media production services to the industry through his media company, Magmata tm. Magmata is a strategic development partner of InsourceJobs. Our goal is to provide IT services and technology evangilism, and to develop the T.E.C.H. and L.A.V.A. program curriculi. Hank (Rico) Rivera, Marketing Director “Know the difference between your dreams and reality, and work harder on reality, to make your dreams come true.” That has been Hank Rivera’s motto since his college years where he started his community organizing experience in New York. In New York, he did real estate and worked at the World Trade Center during the first bombing of 1993. Since then, he moved to the state of Washington. Here, he was a Dean of Students for 13 years. In his “spare time”, with his company, HR Connections, he worked for a mortgage company, organized 38 Diversity job fairs in several of the King and Pierce County cities. As well as 3 Hispanic job fairs, 1 health fair, 1 education fair, 4 immigration and welfare reform forums, and 2 city-wide community resource extravaganzas. William "Bronco" Von Hoerling, Industry Consultant/Contract Acquisition Mr. Von Hoerling brings to InsourceJobs his 20 years of sales and marketing leadership, inspiring and managing professional staff and sales executives. During his time at Microsoft, he brought over the largest licensing contract in Microsoft’s history, $535M over six years. His executive operations covered all aspects of the customer procurement process from RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, through fulfillment, and post sale customer satisfaction. Accounts acquired: Departments of Interior, Labor, Justice, Energy, Transportation, Education, Agriculture, EPA, FAA and NASA. He was awarded the US Headquarters General Manager's Excellence Award, US Enterprise Sales Operations Award, and US Public Sector SEAR Award for outstanding achievement in the areas of sales, leadership, teamwork, and customer/corporate partner impact. Prior to Microsoft Mr. Von Hoerling worked as Senior Corporate Sales Manager at Zones, Inc., a single source IT reseller and professional service with over $.5B in revenues. There, he directed a team of senior account executives and fostered proactive partnerships with Fortune 100 clients in excess of 5,000 workstations to include Google, Sony Online, Fuji Medical Systems, Mattel, Northrop Grumman and others. Mr. Von Hoerling is a former member of the US Army Special Forces who supervised hostage rescue and international risk prevention programs, enhancing crisis interdiction tactics in several countries including the 1988 Olympics in Korea and Goodwill games in Seattle, WA. He also coordinated safety activities for federal officials to include the VP of the United States. He has worked as an independent business consultant providing comprehensive leadership coaching to corporate managers and ranking military personnel. He graduated from Seattle University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Police Sciences and the Defense Language Institute, successfully completing the Russian Linguist Course.
